This program is designed by Ladan Judge, ERYT 500 and Dawn Curtis, ERYT 500.

This program is a full immersion into the art and science of Yoga; moving you from foundational teachings to in-depth study of the scriptures and the healing art of Yoga. The program provides you with the tools you need to evolve as a yoga teacher and practitioner.

This program is Yoga Alliance approved and upon completion of the program you can apply for your 500hr Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification.

Topics include:

• In depth study of Philosophy and History of Yoga
• Anatomy and Physiology though the Koshas
• Chakra system and their healing powers
• Asana: Advance Analysis, Alignment and Practice; Advance Assisting and Adjusting
• The Art of Sequencing: Private Sessions vs. Group Classes – Session based vs. drop-in class structure
• Therapeutic application of Yoga: Structural Therapy and Energetic Therapy
• Advance Pranayama Techniques
• Advance Meditation Techniques
• Ayurveda
• Yin Yoga
• Sanskrit

Prerequisite:

Desire and commitment to expand your knowledge of Yoga, entering the program with a beginner’s mind. Completion of a 200hr Teacher Training program with minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.

Requirements for completion of program:

• Attendance of all sessions and the Retreat (You can miss only ONE weekend, make up will be given accordingly and may be subject to an additional workshop fee.)
• Weekly attendance of a yoga class with Dawn, Ladan or an approved teacher at East Meets West Yoga Center
• Teaching 12 Karma yoga classes or any other approved Karma Yoga Project.
• At least 5 days/week of personal home yoga practice – Logged. (Logs will be checked.)
• Home reading and assignment.
• Journaling  (Journals will be checked)
• Final Paper & Final Exam
