Megan is an ERYT200hr Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher and a RYT500hr Certified Integrative Yoga Therapist. Megan has studied and practiced extensively within the Kripalu lineage and Joseph LePage’s Integrative Yoga Therapy. She has a thriving background of certifications, degrees and continuing education including Trauma Informed Yoga Training, Vipassana Meditation, Lotus Palm Thai Yoga Bodywork and Yoga for Athletes. Megan has been teaching yoga professionally for 10 years and has the natural ability and advanced skills to teach and work with students of varying capabilities and conditions. Her teachings are grounded in structural integrity, breathing practices, mental focus and relaxation. Megan views the yoga class as a living laboratory where practices like curiosity, compassion and commitment can inspire personal growth and healing. In Megan’s classes you will find an infusion of invigorating unique flows of movement and stillness, bhakti (love) reverence, seasonal and element yoga and of course laughter. Megan meets students where they’re at and helps to guide them where they want to be. Megan teaches privately, in groups, leads dynamic workshops, clinics and seminars. Megan uses her yoga activism to help initiate change in the world, working with non profit organizations to develop and implement yoga and healthy living based curriculum for their clientele.

Weather you’re having difficulty structurally or the challenge is deeper lying we work together to find the best resolve for the whole body. Sessions with Megan are progressive offering you tools and practices prescribed for a more full, easeful and balanced life. In her years as a Yoga Therapist, Megan has seen that the condition may not always be curable but “together we can improve quality of life and shift outlook on life.” Sessions with Megan can include various styles of yoga, breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation and or guided meditation, personal affirmations and deep relaxation as well as other private offerings such as Thai Yoga Body work, Yoga Dance, Reiki etc. Yoga therapy is perfect for people who want to pro actively work with their condition or situation from a more intimate, holistic approach. *The first session devotes more time to intake.
