Michelle Chapman-Campbell

Michelle Chapman-Campbell is the incubator of “Transforming Spirit Trough Movement” a practice that incorporates spiritual reflection and yoga practices to ignite the healing of the spirit, mind and body. Michelle is a licensed and ordained minister with a Doctor of Minister degree focusing on developing leadership practices for 21 Century ministry. She is a professional chaplain and utilizes yoga practices to support people in health crisis, addiction recovery and with mental health challenges. She has earned her 200RYT certification with Breathe For Change an organization that incorporates Social Justice and Mindfulness with yoga practices to facilitate healing in the human community and is a certified Yoga Twelve Step Recovery (Y12SR) Leader. Michelle earned her Y12SR certification under the direction of Y12SR Founder Nikki Myers. As a 20+ year Restorative Justice facilitator Michelle has used her academic/yogic/seminarian/restorative justice training to support individuals, families and the community to be in conversation with self, the Divine, and the community. Healing of mind, body and spirit involves communication through verbal / nonverbal reflections and mindful/healing movements. “It is just as important to find safe spaces to engage in conversation to reflect as it is to find a safe places to release, explore, grow, find stillness and space in the body to promote healing / joy.”
