In her classes expect to find breath work, use of props and restorative counter poses along with a steady hatha yoga practice. You will be encouraged to listen your own unique body to make every practice your own. Get ready to push your ‘soft’ limits to build and improve strength.
A regular yoga practitioner since 2010, Melis took the 200 hr Hatha Yoga teacher training in Istanbul at Cihangir Yoga with her teachers Mey Elbi and Naz Sarman, who are students of Cyndi Lee and Leslie Kaminoff. She also had trainings with Chris Chavez and Seane Corn where she got inspired with the elements of anusara and vinyasa yoga. She is a lawyer, a social latin dancer and she likes talking about herself in third person.
