East Meets West Yoga Center

Stacy Meadows

As a latchkey kid, Stacy spent many afternoons watching the PBS program Lilias! Yoga & You.  Her favorite childhood yoga poses were Tree & Plow and she continues to use the relaxation techniques she learned from that program as a child.  Stacy found yoga again as an adult in 2001 after suffering from knee & back injuries associated with running.  She was hooked on yoga after attending her very first class.  Since then she has studied extensively with Doug Keller, completing her 200-hour teacher training at Health Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, VA, as as a multifaceted 300-hour training program at Asheville Yoga Center.  Her Yoga training includes alignment based practice, Senior Yoga, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Anatomy, Pre-Natal, & Yoga 4 Cancer.  Stacy has also studied with Judith Lasater, Max Strom, Sarah Powers, Rodney Yee & Colleen Saidman Yee.  She is a E-RYT 200, RYT-500  & YACEP registered instructor with the Yoga Alliance. Stacy loves sharing the peace & contentment cultivated through yoga with her students & is excited to share its benefits with others.
