Stacy Meadows rediscovered yoga in 2001. As a latchkey kid, she recalls many afternoons watching Lilias! Yoga & You, with Lilias Folan on PBS. Her favorite childhood poses were Tree & Plow and she continues to use the relaxation technique she learned while watching Lilias. Influenced by co-workers, she found yoga again as an adult after suffering from knee & back injuries associated with running. Stacy remembers the yoga instructor commenting “she’s hooked” after her very first class as she realized yoga would be a lifelong practice. Stacy loves sharing the peace & contentment cultivated during each yoga class with her students & is excited to share her knowledge and exploration of yoga & its benefits to others. Stacy is a 200 hour level Yoga Alliance certified instructor & is currently pursuing her 500 hour certification. She studies weekly with Doug Keller & Susan Van Nuys at the Health Advantage Yoga Center in Herndon, Virginia.
