Brenda Secora

Brenda Secora (E-RYT 200, RPYT, trained doula) has been a passionate student of yoga since 2007, when she relied on her practice to keep her balanced during five years of being the “Budget Goddess” in international non-profit finance. With a strong desire to share the gifts yoga has given her, she completed a Vinyasa-focused Yoga Teacher Training in 2011 followed by a Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in 2012. She is also a well-studied and experienced Yin Yoga teacher. Her teaching style is engaging, challenging, and empowering with a particular talent for clear and concise cues.

Brenda is a wife, homemaker, and stay-at-home mom to two little girls who entertain her daily. She enjoys watching sci-fi and playing strategy board games with her husband, dancing to 80’s music with her daughters, and snuggling with her pup. When not homebound in baby/toddler nap jail, she enjoys road biking, swimming, scuba diving, theater, and international traveling. Connect with Brenda via her yoga website www.presentmotionyoga.com.

After birthing two children, Brenda has become increasingly more interested in prenatal and postnatal health and fitness. She completed an amazing DONA International birth doula training in 2018 and is working towards certification in childbirth education. Brenda cares deeply about empowering and educating moms about their options with pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Her prenatal and postnatal classes are focused on preventing and healing issues unique to pregnancy, with a strong emphasis on strength-building, pelvic floor health, community-building, and education.
