Becky Robeson

Having retired in 2008 from a long career in the corporate world, Becky transitioned to a much more rewarding second career in fitness and health. Becky obtained certification from ACSM as a personal trainer and also received related specialty certificates including “Brains and Balance After 50” (Exercise Etc.®), Balanced Athlete® -Level One, and NASM Group Exercise Instructor. Becky received her initial yoga teacher training certificates in 2009 from YogaFit® in Levels 1 & 2, Yoga for Seniors, and Yoga Anatomy and Alignment 1 & 2. More recently Becky obtained her certificate as Tai Chi EasyTM Practice Leader. Becky’s teaching style is to make exercise enjoyable, safe and effective, particularly for older adults or anyone who is relatively new to exercise. Becky’s passion is to continuously learn new ways to incorporate the principles of yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong in her classes, focusing on breathing, slow movement, coordination and mindfulness. Becky’s overall goal is to bring awareness to her students of the value of applying these exercises in everyday life for managing stress and improving quality of life.
